Avision GmbH is an IT service provider specializing in software revival for application development and support. As an alternative to complete new implementations, which are often costly and risky, Avision modernizes companies’ legacy software in an efficient way. Our team currently comprises 130 employees – experts with more than 25 years of professional experience, but also young professionals with fresh ideas.
Your tasks
- As a member of one of our cross-functional teams, you will develop individual software solutions in varied and interesting projects for one of the largest logistics service providers worldwide
- Development of sophisticated technical concepts and architectures based on current Java technologies and their implementation in, for example, Spring Boot, React, Angular, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes and many more.
- You influence the introduction of new technologies and contribute with your ideas to the modernization and further development of our customers’ software
- You are free to choose the operating system for your laptop with us (Windows or Linux)
Your profile
- High willingness to take initiative, as well as a solution-oriented and independent way of working
- Open and flexible personality who enjoys working in a motivated and innovative team
- Experience in the realization of web applications based on Spring Boot and Angular/React
- Confident handling of SQL
- Ideally experience with Gitlab, Gitlab CI/CD, Gradle and Maven
- Very good knowledge of German
