As an IT service provider, we modernise applications and systems – making them more efficient, durable and resource-friendly. We also apply this principle to our company: we think long-term, act consciously and take responsibility.
Avision has been part of the Munich–Ebersberg Climate Alliance since 2024. Together with other organisations and companies from the region, we are committed to climate protection, raising awareness and implementing long-term measures.
For us, this means that we don’t just want to compensate – we want to initiate real change in our actions. We follow the Climate Alliance’s step-by-step plan and reduce our emissions systematically and measurably. Our goal is continuous improvement with clearly defined milestones:
The graph shows our planned reduction path for greenhouse gas emissions until 2033. We are continuously reducing our emissions through targeted measures such as low-emission mobility, the expansion of photovoltaics and the gradual switch to renewable energy sources.
We are particularly proud that we already generate only 0.9 tonnes of CO₂ per employee – a figure that is well below the Climate Alliance average and underlines our responsible use of resources.
We offset unavoidable emissions through regional and global climate protection projects run by Zukunft+, part of the Climate Alliance. In doing so, we take responsibility beyond our own measures.
As part of the Climate-Neutral Bavaria 2040 initiative, we are guided by the Free State’s long-term climate targets. They provide us with a clear framework for the sustainable development of our business activities.
Our commitment is evident in many areas – from mobility and purchasing to social responsibility.
100% of our electricity comes from renewable energy sources.
Climate protection can only be achieved by working together. That is why we see our commitment not as an end goal, but as a starting point: we want to further develop our sustainability management and take new steps every year.
After all, the future is shaped by decisions, and responsibility begins in everyday life.
