Avision GmbH is an IT service provider specializing in software revival for application development and support. As an alternative to complete new implementations, which are often costly and risky, Avision modernizes companies’ legacy software in an efficient way. Our team currently comprises 150 employees – experts with more than 25 years of professional experience, but also young professionals with fresh ideas.
Your tasks
- As a member of one of our cross-functional teams, you will develop customized software solutions in diverse and exciting projects for one of the world’s largest logistics service providers.
- You will design and implement sophisticated technical concepts and architectures based on modern Java technologies, using tools such as Spring Boot, Angular, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and many more.
- You will have a direct impact on the introduction of new technologies and contribute your ideas to the modernization and continuous improvement of our clients’ software.
- You are free to choose your preferred operating system for your laptop (Windows or Linux).
Your profile
- Strong willingness to take initiative, with a solution-oriented and self-responsible working style
- Open and flexible personality, enjoying work in a motivated and innovative team
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in developing web applications using Spring Boot and Angular
- Confident handling of SQL
- Desired but not essential: experience with GitLab, GitLab CI/CD, Gradle, and Maven
- Excellent German language skills, minimum B2 level
